Got My July Glam bag today after work, and I have to say I was pretty happy with a couple of the products. 🙂
When I got this straight out of the bag, I saw a few nicks inside the case and on the plastic inside. Which is strange since I received the item carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, other than that it was fine. I was skeptical about if the colors would show up well on my skin since I usually have a problem without building it up heavily.
Pros: I received the Teal Quad, and the colors are sheer but buildable to a vibrant hue. Its smooth and easy to apply and blends well. The yellow, teal, and peachy tones showed up really well on my skin with a minimal application, and no shadow primer. 😀
Cons: I don’t really have any complaints on this one except on how I received the case with nicks straight out of the package.

Hmmm, what to say about this one? When I saw it online I thought it was a lipstick at first, so I wasn’t too happy to get it at first because I never wear lipstick. I was happily surprised to see that I was mistaken and it is a lip balm.
Pros: I received the lip balm in Ruby, a fire engine red shade. It’s semi-sheer and slightly moisturizing. The design of the tube is slick and simple. The balm goes on smoothly and is not the least bit sticky. It’s not glittery and goes on almost matte.
Cons: I don’t think there is anything too special about this product. It’s just another ordinary lip balm in the bag, but it is fine for what it is.

A soy milk, oat, and white tea cleanser. This thing just amazed me when it touched my face, but not too much after I reached for a towel.
Pros: Out of the bottle the product comes out smooth and as a light liquid with a slight earthy scent, I think that is the soy milk, ha. I had to be careful, as I got out a bit too much, the product is that liquidy, and not at all gel like in consistency. When I got it on my face, the cleanser felt exactly like my argan oil cleanser, it got off my minimal make up pretty well.
Cons: Except it didn’t. Once I got my towel and washed the cleanser off, I saw I had minor raccon eyes. It said online that it could take off even mascara, so for the test I pulled out mine to specifically test this product. Not only did it fail in getting off the mascara, it didn’t get all of my eyeliner which I had been wearing all day at work. I had to go back to my Garnier cleanser to get the rest of the makeup off. 😦

Hmm, I’m not sure if this one worked at all since my hair is naturally wavy. I tried this on my hair dry, so I may go back and try this again later after a shower alternaitivly.
**Update- I tried after a shower with damp hair and it didn’t work, if anything my hair got slightly straighter**
Pros: The spray is VERY light and airy. It has a slight scent that disappears quiclky.
Cons: I did 6-8 sprits to see if there would be any change in my hair texture. There wasn’t one, but I also couldn’t feel if there was any real product in my hair… I think this product is really light, maybe too light for my medium-thick hair.
Score: 0 out of 5, it did nothing for my hair, a epic fail
I have always wanted to try tarte products, but sadly this is a bronzer. With my olive/tan skin, this pruduct was overall awkward for me, I’ll either toss this, or give it away to my sister if she wants it.
Pros: The product came safe and sound, with no scratchs unlike the eyeshadow above. The bonzer goes on smooth and is a medium biege. Has medium light coverage.
Cons: For shades like this one, it is a well know fact that tan girls have to becareful, or we might end up appearing like a sparkly ghost. This was one of those moments sadly. The bronzer is way too shiny and pearlescent for my skin tone, and gave off a really yellowish gold hue for my red undertone.
