Target Beauty Box Review

Hi everyone~
I’m back with another beauty box review, hope you enjoy and find it enlightening!

CoverGirl Super Size Mascara by Lashblast $5.99

Pro: Makes lashes thick with about a single coat, and gets into the corners very well.
Con: I did get minor clumping, but I would suggest using a different mascara brush or an eyelash comb to prevent it.
Score: 4 out of 5

Fekkai Pre-Soleil Hair Mist $19.99

Pro: A sun protecting spray for hair, and prevents hair color from fading. It has a nice scent too. A very light weight spray and feels nice in my hair.
Con: I can’t tell if the product is really protecting my hair or not, because I’m inside most of the summer working indoors. Plus its 5oz for $19.99
Score: 3 out of 5

Hair Food Moisturizing Mask $11.99

Pro: I have never tried a hair mask before, but wow, where has this baby been all my life? After one use, I noticed in the shower it water working better than my cheap conditioner at hydrating. After the 3rd use, I decided to skip the conditioner, and my hair feels just as good without, though a bit frizzy. The product is paraben and mineral oil free!
Con: More product has to go into my hair as it is waist length. 😥
Score: 5 out of 5

Olay Active Botanicals Moisturizing Toner $14.99

Pro: I love Olay products, and have been using at least a few products from their different lines for several years now. This is the first store brand toner I have ever used, aside of making my own, and I think it does a better job at moisturizing my skin.
Con: The sample bottle is so small, I want more! 😉 Ha. My only real complaint is that the sample bottles would need a drip spout to prevent spilling the contents.
Score: 5 out of 5

Olay Active Botanicals Day Lotion $14.99

Pro: The lotion is smooth and light to the touch, and goes on like silk. It is lightly scented and my skin feels smooth and hydrated after use.
Con: None to note. It’s a good, regular store brand day lotion, but you could probably find better for that price.
Score: 5 out of 5

Crest 3D Whitestrips 1hr Express $49.99

Pro: I have used Crest 3D white strips before from their Pro Effect line and had some results though they were slow. Though I have sensitive teeth, I had no issue with that line, but other’s have reviewed otherwise.
Con: I only received one strip, so I can not effectively review on the results of the full sized product, which 4 strips in a single box. Also, my teeth are very sensitive so I can not review the strip due to it’s high level whitening which will effect my teeth. There have been complaints on Target’s review page for this product for mild to extreme teeth pain after a single use, I would consult an orthodontist/dentist before use.
No score can be provided for this product, as I am unable to test it.
