Ipsy Glam Bag Review – October 2015

Hi Lovelies~
I’m really happy with the Glam Bag this month, with all but one product and think 2 items of my bag are a good score! Yay, I’m happy 😛

Beauty Without Cruelty Fragrance Free Hand and Body Lotion

Pro: This lotion moisturizes and softens my skin really well like the product suggests. The texture of the lotion is smooth and creamy, and my skin soaks it right up like a sponge with no residue left. It lasts quite long, and I think I only needed to reapply it a few times when I needed it since I have naturally dry skin. In the product there is shea butter, jojoba, kukui nut oil and aloe vera, which are all ingredients I love! The product is also paraben and cruelty free, as well as 100% vegan/vegetarian, plus the bottle I received is travel sized and fits in my satchel bag nicely. 😀
Con: I see no cons with this product, I just wish I got more. Ha! 😉
Score: 5 out of 5

Lavanila Laboratories
Pure Vanilla Deluxe Mini Roller Ball

Pro: This perfume has a light and creamy vanilla scent that isn’t at all overpowering to my sensitive nose. This makes me happy because I don’t usually wear perfume for this reason, so YES! Big score for me, ha! The product is a blend of pure Madagascar vanilla, sheer freesia, and tonka bean, and boasts being a healthy all natural product. This product goes without phthalates, harsh chemicals, and chemical alcohol and uses instead  a organic sugar cane alcohol and essential oils to create this fragrance.
Con: None, I love this thing! 😀
Score: 5 out of 5

Royal & Langnickel Moda™
Standard Eyeshadow Shader Brush

Pro: A 100% vegan synthetic brush, that feels silky smooth and light to the touch! It makes me regret ever buying my dermalogica brush set, which the brushes feel cheap and have fall out bristles all the time (and was by no means cheap either….). The handle is also water resistant and a no slip grip.
Con: No cons, but it would have been nice to get  full set 😉
Score: 5 out of 5

MicaBeauty
ipsy EXCLUSIVE Cream Eyeshadow in Bronze

Pro: This product is really creamy and light and easy for application. It lasts quite long and is buildable to get more color, from sheer to bold. It’s a good general creamy eyeshadow product.
Con: This product is exclusive for Ipsy subscribers, so if you want it you’ll have to be apart of the membership. 😛
Score: 4 out 5, because while it is a good general product it is just average in my opinion. The fact that this product is an exclusive doesn’t make sense to me.

theBalm Cosmetics
Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long-Lasting Liquid Lipstick

Pro: The balm is long lasting and truly matte lipstick with a light nude color. It is tingly upon application and smells quite nice, and does have buildable coverage.
Con: This product was not the shade for me, I can’t really rock any nude or pale pink shades if you remember from my previous reviews. The sample is also extremely tiny, with only .04 oz. Though the product is long lasting it is quite drying on my lips, so I recommend lip balm before use. I also found it a bit tough to get the product off my lips as it seemed almost water proof, so I would not recommend applying too much of the product. If you do, I recommend keeping a facial towel on hand, lightly wet it up and gently scrub the lipstick off.
Score: 2 out of 5 for the size of the sample, drying formula, and unflattering color
